Kung Fu Malbec 2021
Don’t let the label scare you, like it seems to have scared so many others. Kung Fu Malbec 2021 is actually a real killer wine. Heh. What’s funny about this one is that some fellow winos got in touch asking how this wine turned out, since they didn’t dare to buy it due to the label. Their loss. Kung Fu is a balanced, fruity, smooth natural Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina. The color is a seductively deep purple, pronounced aromas of blueberry, herbs and chocolate, medium body, a lovely finish, nice, rounded tannins and good acidity.
Being a natural wine, the label is not as chocking as if it would’ve been attached on a bottle of Bordeaux. It almost seems to be a battle of the natural minds when it comes to labelling of natural wine, the more it pops the better. This one definitely pops. The editing of the photo barely does it justice when it comes to intensity.
